Thursday Meeting!

We should have some food at our next meeting, so that we can say a proper farewell to Erica.  I will bring some punch, and make some sort of dessert.  Write below or see me to indicate what you can do.  I hope you all can come, even those of you in track!

Next Meeting

We will meet on Thursday, April 7 right after school this week to discuss I Am Number Four and share anything you've written.  The movie, I Am Number Four, is not going to work this week.  We will have to wait for it to go to MJR Allen Park.  In the meantime, I need you to let me know if there is a better day of the week to meet.  Tuesdays are no good for me, but otherwise I can work with you.

We had a lovely visit at Panera, discussing I Am Number Four and other books.  I'll be adding those photos to the mixbook, and must say it was very nice chatting with everyone about literature.

Don't worry about getting to the halfway point in the book.  The consensus seems to be that everybody started, but didn't quite reach the middle.

New Book to Read

As a group, we are going to read the book, I Am Number Four.   Pick up a copy, and get started so we can get sharing!

Hmmm . . .

Yesterday, we discussed a few philanthropic ideas, including a used children's book drive or fundraiser.  While perusing for ideas online, I came across this site, and thought a few of you would love it.  I am sure you'd need your parents' permission, of course.  It looked neat, though.
