Rainer Maria Rilke
He was a German poet in the 1900's and a portion of his elegies seemed perfect for our club. Hope you like it! :)

My subsitute teacher last week wrote a whole thing about Rilke in his notes for me. He had seen your book sitting on my desk and thought that the translation, while omitting the element of rhyme, was adequate. Just thought you'd like to know. :)
